Question: Is there a way I can help any of the conventions?
Answer: YES! There are two primary ways you can help. You can become staff and help run the convention(s) (run your own department, assist a department, or be general staff), or you can volunteer with the convention and just do a bit of work at the convention(s) (like badging for instance). You can email info@(convention).org (Ex. info@animefargo.org or info@fargocorecon.org) to become staff, or you can visit the convention website to fill out the volunteer form.
Question: I don’t live in the Fargo-Moorhead area but I’d still like to help, is there anything I can do?
Answer: Yes! Similar to the above question, you can volunteer or staff a convention(s). We have a lot of resources for those not directly in town, in fact several existing members are already helping from many miles away. You can email info@(convention).org (Ex. info@animefargo.org or info@fargocorecon.org) to become staff, or you can visit the convention website to fill out the volunteer form.
Question: I’m thinking about taking a position in one (or more) conventions, but I’d like to know more about the departments and what they do?
Answer: Check out our wiki in the menu above! Publicly available are all department timelines, SOPs, and as much info as we can include to help our staff do their jobs. The only thing you can’t see on the wiki are private things, such as budgets and inventory, which require you to be staff to see.
Question: Are you or any of your conventions related to Ryan Kopf?
Answer: No, we are our own entity.
Question: Are you or any of your conventions related to Tony Tilton or Valley Con?
