Department description
The Hotel department is responsible for communicating between the Convention and Hotel Venue to ensure smooth operations.
Staff
Department head
The department head will be responsible for interacting with the Hotel Venue. They will need to be familiar with Hotel rules and regulations as well as knowing the appropriate Hotel staff to contact for any eventualities that may occur. This may include emergencies, minor or extensive. They will need to communicate Anime Fargo's needs to the hotel as well as Hotel needs to the convention. They should work with Safety/Security for Tornado, Fire, and other potential emergency plans. They will work with Hotel staff about who may receive access to locked rooms after hours. They may work with Audio/Visual about available media equipment and or stage setups. They may work with the hotel about access to areas prior to the convention for setting up. They will coordinate how the Hotel wants registration for the convention to be handled and coordinate with Website, and Social Media to convey that to attendees. They may work with Accessibility to accommodate attendees. They may work with Logistics and Vendors and Artist Alley about loading and unloading areas.
